Urban Safari...

At the Kennedy Center

The sky was overcast when I left out this morning, a remnant of the seeming torrential rain we received yesterday.  I had several errands to run, planned to take my niece shopping for summer clothes (and maybe pick up a few pieces for myself), and needed to attend a performance at the Kennedy Center.  Although the weather refused to cooperate, I knew that whatever I wore needed to be functional, able to multi-task, and be kinda-stylish at the same time. My Zebra-printed trench coat does the trick all the time.  Atop this long black dress I got from ASOS Curve last year, it served its purpose well.

Both the Zebra coat and the seed bead bracelets serve as reminders...

"Why can't I wear this plaid scarf?", I asked The Niece.

Zebra printed Trench Coat: Lauren Ralph Lauren, Dress: ASOS Curve, Motorcycle Boots: Lauren Ralph Lauren
Seed Bead Bracelets: Random Vendor at Street Festival

These boots have been to hell and back. They are scuffed, scratched, and well-worn.  But I cannot give them up.
Do I own another lipcolor besides MAC's Ruby Woo?  I need to act like it. Why am I constantly wearing it every single day?  Make-up rut...
