The Skunk... Part III

In my mind, this is an everyday work outfit, or at least that is what I told The Spouse.  Maybe someone's job?  But anywhoo, how much more classic can an ensemble be?  Basic wide leg slacks, a top in texture, and a cardigan sweater?  This vest is doing overtime!  I win!

Black and White Faux fur Vest: ASOS, Lace Ruffle Shirt: Nordstrom (ages ago...), Sweater: (super old)

Super Wide Leg Chelsea Pants: Lane Bryant
SN: I remember when Lane Bryant was the end all, be all in plus size women pants.  But tragically, they stopped making these babies a few years ago. I still have several pairs in various colors and prints, but I never had these in black. While perusing the thrift store one day, lo and behold, these babies were hanging on the rack with original tags intact and everything!  And... they were a Tall! Score...

  2. You never cease to amaze me. I've been looking for some wide leg slacks to no avail. Guess I have to try that thrifting thing again. Love this one too but skunk No 2 is my favorite - that was a great buy. Have you convinced the Spouse yet?

    1. Juliette, I have worn this vest so much in an effort to prove my point, I think I am tired of it myself! LOL. If you can fit a size 14 I might be able to help you with the wide leg slacks. I have a pair (who knows why I can never fit them). Email me if you want them nel@girlsofplenty.com
