Vintage Easter....

So today is Easter.  And because I try to be a good daughter (sometimes), I spent the day with my mom.  My mom is a devout Christian and loves going to church, and like many families, insists on the family getting together to celebrate holidays.  Here, pictures of what I wore...

I absolutely love a voluminous dress.  But as I continue to hurry the transition to Spring that has decided not to come right away, I am shying away from my boots and easing into my sandals with peep-toe boots.  And with my classic go-to, dress over jeans, I was extremely comfortable.

Can I tell you how pressed I was for this dress?!  Don't ask why, but the pleating, and the V-pattern on the yoke and the sleeve of the dress made this even more of a must-have for me.  Worn today with gray denim leggings, and peep-toe booties, in the winter, I imagine wearing this with leather over-the-knee boots, and colored tights and pumps.  Can you say versatile?

Trying to chase after my niece, who is a slippery one!

Happy Easter to all that celebrate!

  1. LOVE this outfit! I'm lusting after those boots in particular. You always bring it!

    1. Thanks! They were only 49.99 from Ebay. Score!

  2. Love the dress over the jeans! I will gladly take it off your hands when you're finished with it :-)

    1. Sure thing... I would love to see it on all those curves! LOL
