If you grew up in the 1970s and 1980s like I did, you are probably familiar with the Strawberry Shortcake cartoon character. On top of that, I had the Strawberry Shortcake doll which smelled like strawberries and cream. But her desire to ALWAYS wear pink and red together, was something I could never understand. Perhaps that explains why I have never worn these colors together. Honestly, I barely wear them separately, with me being somewhat allergic to the color pink in any shade. But after seeing the ever fabulous Heidi Klum sporting the Pink and Red color combination on what seemed like a casual, errand running day, I decided to go for it. I already had these pieces in my closet, and lo & behold. I actually loved it. Imagine that….
